We're inviting parents, young people, school staff, academics, policy-makers, business and political leaders, and community organizations to be part of creating a vision for education in the 21st century!

What can I do?

Join the discussion. Share an idea. Tell us one great thing that your school is doing. Ask a question. Share research. Share a picture. Share a video.

Host your own conversation about schools (we'll show you how) and share the results here.

Why?

We believe that conversations like this will spark new thinking about education! And build excitement about the possibilities and potential inherent in our public schools.

This is a place to share the wonderful things that are already happening in our schools, things that others may want to copy. It's also a place to build new ideas. The world we live in is changing rapidly. Is it time for our schools to change and evolve too?

More school boards across the province are exploring the option of closing schools in the face of enrolment declines and budget pressures.

172 schools are slated or recommended to close in Ontario between 2009 and 2012, and a further 163 reviews are in progress.
