The future of our society is based on how we educate our children.
All over the world, people are thinking about the role of schools in the 21st century!
This is a place to share those new ideas and that research. On the comment wall, you can tell us about other organizations or websites you're aware of. We'll post them each on their own page here to share that information with as many people as possible!
Please remember to note the website address or link in your comment.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------In Britain, they are also thinking about education and its place in 21st century society.
The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) is a British organization that has been around for 250 years, providing a space for people to network and “think” about new ideas.
They’re looking for innovative practical solutions to the most pressing social issues affecting our communities today. Their approach is “multi-disciplinary, politically independent and combines cutting edge research and policy development with practical action.”The RSA is launching the Education Campaign that will define a broad vision for 21st century education and then will communicate that vision to parents, students, and teachers, and stimulate practical change in local areas.

Look what they are doing in Australia! (Click here for more
information.)
In some school districts in Australia they are using "Schools at
the Centre" as a model to include the community for at least two
generations. They believe that inequality of family opportunities
involves building the capacity of disadvantaged children and their
parents in a holistic manner for more than one generation.
