In Debbie Pushor's research paper on "Parent Engagement: Creating a Shared World", she quotes the words from this song--happens to be a long time favourite of mine! Melanie is much older now, but she is still singing the songs of peace with the message that we are all connected.....

A time for new connections! If I may have a another hippy moment here, I will quote another Melanie song, "If I had my dreams, I would fill the hall and tell all the people tear down the walls that keep them from being a part of it all, 'cause they gotta get close to it all...." (Close To It All by Melanie) Looking forward to being together again...even for one day!

As we move into summer, the connections we've made here may unravel a bit... but fall will bring us back together again (too soon to think about fall now though! -but there's our annual P4E conference at York U in Toronto on Nov 7th...) here's hoping all you beautiful people have a wonderful summer - drop in and chat or catch up on things whenever the mood strikes you.
